  I wished I would've read the reviews. I saved for months to buy a nice couch. Spent $1,300. Within 9 months the cushions broke down and Pete got them replaced, after several months, by the manufacturer. I was told by Pete this was rare. 5 months later, they broke down again. Pete made it sound like it was my fault. Looking at the product reviews, there were HUNDREDS of complaints. After not hearing from Pete, I came into the store. My 'new' cushion had been sitting there for ? how long??!! Such poor customer service I called my brother in law to see if I could sue. I've never sued anyone, but I just want my money back. I got a broken down cushion!!!(took 5 months for this 'new' replacement). obviously it is a used cushion, you take a leveler and it dips 4-6 inches. Pete said it's my problem they aren't dealing with the manufacturer anymore, YET he still sells the product. In most businesses, I would get my money back or at least get the cushions replaced by a local upholstery shop. Pete shows exceptionally poor character in his business dealings. I wonder how he sleeps at night? I am so disappointed with this couch. It looks like it's 30 years old and a slum couch. I am taking it to a local upholster and expect to pay about $ 500. DON'T BUY FROM PETE/FURNITURE 86. They get NO stars.
